Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd went on an impressive 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent within the first round. She then returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in the year 2015, when she signed with Invicta FC. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move from Bantamweight to the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her formidable grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy with an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC21 was her last fight with the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by using her ground and pound tactics and earned the TKO 2nd round win. She continued her dominance and racked up an impressive victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger during the first round and got an outstanding performance bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's debut major fight. Ladd's win was a majority decision and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award was awarded to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In a recent replacement match to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a loss by majority decision.
