Carey, who is almost 5'10" tall she was a popular American modeling model. Famous designers like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren liked her. Her father was an eminent geoscientist and was awarded the title of Scientist of 1979 by the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Because of his career Carey grew up all around the globe. While in college, she began to model in a part-time capacity and caught the eye to Ford model Agency representatives in New York. In the year 1980, she emigrated to France for a brief period of time, and lived in Paris and Bordeaux, before returning to New York in order to pursue her modeling career. The model was featured on Vogue and Glamour cover. In addition to modeling, she attended New York University full-time to obtain a degree in literature. Her interest grew in acting and started taking classes in the Neighborhood Playhouse of New York. Her acting debut came through a tiny part in the film 'Club Paradise" in 1986, starring Robin Williams. In her spare time, she enjoys ski, wind surfing and rock climbing. She also enjoys white water white water rafting.
