Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss' first taste of fame as a fiddler was in 1990. She was 19 years old and received the Grammy Award in the category of Best Bluegrass Album. It was an impressive feat in many ways, not just because Krauss was young but also because I've Got That Old Feeling was the 3rd album in her catalog. Too Late To Cry is her debut album. It came out in Champaign Illinois at the age of sixteen years old. In the year 14 she signed her first contract in the form of Rounder Records - one of the most prestigious folk-based labels. Krauss has always been known for her incredible musicianship and accomplishments, even in her early years. The devotion she has to bluegrass music, one of the most enduring and unappreciated forms in American music, has also been a constant. Krauss at one time a teenager phenom, had become a professional musician and producer. Alison Alison Alison
