JacquelineJacqueline Fernandez was born 11 August 1985 in Sri Lanka. She is a model and actress. In addition to appearing in reality shows and music videos She has also worked in Indian films most of them in Hindi. Her debut was with Aladin in 2009 and has since developed a career within the Hindi film industry. Fernandez was born and was raised in Bahrain to a multiracial Eurasian family with Sri Lankan, Canadian, and Malaysian origin. After graduating in mass communication from the University of Sydney and working as a television reporter in Sri Lanka, she joined the modeling industry. She was Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2006 and was a representative of Sri Lanka in Miss Universe 2006. Fernandez was the subject of an investigation in relation to a money laundering case that involved Rs200 crore in the month of December 2021. Fernandez was questioned for ten hours by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), as part of the investigation on 9/12/2021. Fernandez's request for a reduction of the Lookout Circular, (LOC) that was issued in her case and preventing her from traveling out of India was rejected by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on 22nd December.
